Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 13, 2026 (originally posted December 12, 2024)
At Aultman Roofing, we value the privacy of our customers and visitors to our website. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website aultmanroofing.com. By using this website, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
Personal Information: When you contact us, request a quote, or schedule a consultation, you may provide personal details such as your name, email address, phone number, and address.
Non-Personal Information: We may collect information about your device, browser, and usage of our website through cookies and tracking technologies. This can include your IP address, browsing patterns, and the pages you visit.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To respond to your inquiries and provide you with information about our services.
To schedule roof inspections, repairs, or consultations.
To improve the functionality of our website and tailor it to better suit your needs.
To send you marketing communications, including promotional offers, if you have opted in to receive them.
To comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes if necessary.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except in the following cases:
Service Providers: We may share your information with trusted third-party vendors who assist in providing services related to our roofing business (e.g., payment processing, scheduling software).
Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal requests.
Business Transfers: If Aultman Roofing is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Data Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. While we use security measures, no method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure. By using our website, you acknowledge and agree to assume the inherent risks associated with online data transmission.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) to operate the site, measure how visitors use it, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. The cookies fall into the following categories:
Essential cookies — set by our website host (Squarespace) so the site loads correctly, the contact form works, and your session is maintained while you browse.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) — we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-84N5NWDWX2) through Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors find and use our site. These cookies record information such as your approximate location, the pages you view, how long you spend, and whether you submit our contact form. The data is sent to Google and processed under Google’s Privacy Policy.
Advertising and conversion-tracking cookies (Google Ads) — when you arrive at our site from a Google Ads click, we record the Google click identifier and any associated campaign parameters (source, medium, campaign) in first-party cookies with a 90-day lifetime. We use this information to measure which ads drive contact form submissions and consultation requests, and we share conversion events with Google Ads so we can measure ad effectiveness. We do not use this information to build profiles of you or to remarket to you across other websites.
How to opt out
You can disable or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may break parts of this site.
You can opt out of Google Analytics on any device by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
You can manage your Google Ads personalization at adssettings.google.com.
6. Analytics and Advertising Services
We use the following third-party services to operate and measure our website and advertising:
Squarespace (website hosting and the contact form) — see squarespace.com/privacy
Google Analytics 4 — see policies.google.com/privacy
Google Ads and Google Tag Manager — see policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/ads
When you submit our contact form, the form submission is stored in our customer-relationship system (RoofPro) so we can follow up with you about your roofing inquiry. We do not share your name, email, phone number, or address with Google or any other advertising platform. The only information we share with Google for ad-effectiveness measurement is the fact that a conversion happened (a form submission) and the value we assign to that lead — not your contact details.
7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
The right to know what personal information we have collected about you.
The right to request deletion of your personal information.
The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
The right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some uses of cookies for advertising measurement (described in Section 5) may be considered “sharing” under California’s Consumer Privacy Rights Act. To opt out, disable advertising cookies in your browser, use the opt-out tools listed in Section 5, or email us at office@aultmanroofing.com and we will not transmit your future conversion data to Google for ad measurement.
8. How Long We Keep Your Information
Contact form submissions and customer records are retained for as long as you are an active customer plus seven years after our last interaction, to comply with insurance-restoration documentation requirements and applicable Georgia statute-of-limitations periods.
Advertising and analytics cookies expire automatically — Google Analytics cookies after up to 24 months of inactivity; our first-party advertising cookies after 90 days.
You may request earlier deletion of your personal information by emailing office@aultmanroofing.com.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at office@aultmanroofing.com and we will delete it promptly.
10. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
Access and update your personal information.
Opt-out of marketing communications by following the unsubscribe link in any email you receive from us.
Request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., if we need to retain it for legal purposes).
To exercise your rights or ask any questions regarding your personal data, please contact us at office@aultmanroofing.com.
11. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the updated Privacy Policy will take effect when it is published. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy.
